Originally from Brooklyn, NY, a considerable amount of my life has been spent in The Bronx section of New York City. While having to deal with the passing of my mom at the age of 4, it was my pops who raised me.
As a kid who often struggled to finish my breakfast, I always appreciated the unique twists my father would put on them. How cutting my ham and eggs into different shapes, morphed into me starting the steak & rice dinners while he traveled home from work on late nights. Sentimental moments like these are what fueled my interests in adding cooking to my repertoire.
After years of schooling, working for various chefs and with the support from family & friends, I've come to realize that love and passion are the key ingredients, not only for cooking, but every endeavor in life we put our efforts into. So no matter what, I always make sure those are the base for all my dishes. Anyone can cook, it's not that hard. But if you can successfully make a person taste the love you put into preparing their meal, the food becomes memorable forever.
